The National Baptist Married Couples Ministry wants to celebrate marriage! The married couples of New Hope are asked to make plans to attend their upcoming conference. The conference will be held February 15-18, 2012 in Baton Rouge, LA. For additional information you may contact Deacon Andre and Sister Natika Anderson. Our own Pastor and First Lady Deloris Cyrus are serving as co-hosts for this conference.

Join Team New Hope at the Komen Race for the Cure®.
The Komen Race for the Cure raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. Up to 75% of funds raised at the Race remain in the Baton Rouge area to provide diagnostics, screening, treatment, services and education for uninsured or underinsured women. Race events on Saturday, March 10th include a 1 mile fun run/walk or a 5k walk/run. March 10, 2012

Body Gospel Classes - Thursdays 6:15 pm New Hope Educational Center Body Gospel® is a workout program created by fitness expert Donna Richardson Joyner that connects the power of faith with your desire to lose weight and get fit. The class includes cardio and muscle toning workouts set to uplifting gospel music. Body Gospel® will give you more energy and help you take care of your temple. Classes are free. Praise Moves, the Christian alternative to yoga incorporates strength, balance, posture and flexibility exercises integrated with Scripture verses and Christian music. The Teaching Ministry of New Hope is in need of teachers! If any Church School and Wednesday Bible Study attendees are interested in teaching children (ages 4-11) on Wednesday 6:30-7:30 PM once a month, please see Brother Lester Reed or Brother David Grisby.
